As the principal of the Saskatoon School of Horticulture Patricia Hanbidge brings with her over 25 years of varied experience in the horticultural field. She has worked directly with the growers, the retailers and the consumers as a consultant, a landscaper and as a teacher. She has to her credit eight published books dealing with a variety of horticultural topics. They are viewed as a great reference tools for gardeners and professionals in the field.

books Patricia has been an invited speaker for meetings and conferences throughout Canada, United States and Europe. For many years she coordinated the Master Gardener Program,the Prairie Horticultural Certificate Program and the GardenLine Information Service for the University of Saskatchewan. She currently mentors the community based Prairie Master Gardener Program which operates under the umbrella of the Saskatoon School of Horticulture.

For the past four years she has sat as a member of the Environmental Advisory Committee for the City of Saskatoon. She has imported and sold biological controls to players in the horticultural industry for over 25 years. She has an unequaled network throughout the Prairie Provinces and beyond.
