    Dan Mills

    With over 25 years experience in the floral design industry and Dan is a Master Florist. Dan is not only a spectacular florist but also has a multitude of other talents. He is very well educated in the sciences which gives him a unique and quite splendid background for floristry. He is also an experienced teacher in a multitude of fields. He is not only a great teacher of floral design but is also is heralded in the fields of fitness, yoga, tai chi, aerobic dance, nutrition, gestalt, visualization and meditation, massage and relaxation. He has experience coordinating education and outreach programs in organic farming, homelessness, community agriculture projects and computer classes. Dan is a painter (portraits and murals), an amazing quilter and if you need backdrops done for a production – Dan is also the man for that! In more related fields he grew up in the horticultural production industry, has been a nurseryman, a special event manager and most recently has come to Canada from Hawaii where he lived for many years. During his time in Hawaii he gained over 6 years of event management and production. He is currently the Head Instructor of the Saskatoon School of Horticulture.

    Heather Richardson

    An environmentalist concerned with ecology and conservation in the prairie region with a unique blend of talents. Her firsthand knowledge of the soul of rural living brings a down to earth sustainable approach to events. Heather is a recent university graduate, wherein she took part – as both a participant and organizer - in many activities, athletic teams and events, as she has throughout her entire life. She is currently the Vice Principal of the Saskatoon School of Horticulture and has had experience managing events both big and small. She is the organizing body of the team who ensures that each event runs smoothly from the conception of the idea until the last dish is washed! Heather’s dedication to excellence makes her the perfect fit for planning and execution of any event. She takes her work seriously, yet, she is delightful to work with, making the most extraordinary tasks a joy in which to participate. With Heather as the captain of the team you will be assured of excellence in the finished product, enthusiasm for the process and players, and enjoyment along the path from start to finish. Teaching, managing and inspiring come naturally to Heather. She readily shares these qualities with every opportunity and challenge she meets.

    Patricia Hanbidge

    A well known and respected horticulturist, speaker, teacher and consultant. Patricia’s long list of experience includes: Coordinator for Horticulture Programs with the Extension Division of the University of Saskatchewan and Prairie Horticulture Certificate Program; and management of the GardenLine Information Office. Patricia is a published writer in the horticultural field including gardening books and information columns. She is a successful entrepreneur for many grand projects including creation of Green Schemes & Scapes, a horticulture consulting and landscape design firm. Most recently she has founded the Saskatoon School of Horticulture. As Principal, Patricia inspires students by her belief in the industry and her dedication to a superior educational environment for the students and colleagues with whom she participates. She has been immersed in the horticulture industry for over 30 years, and as such, has experienced many different conferences, conventions and trade shows, both as a participant and as an organizer. This has taught her what is required, what works and what doesn’t. She has managed numerous events both large and small. Small, intimate gatherings to international conferences and competitions are all within her field of expertise. If you are looking for a special occasion in another location, she also is a seasoned guide with the ability to show you a once in a lifetime experience on one of her many hosted holidays. Her most recent hosted holidays featured tours of the most exquisite gardens of England and Italy. Within our own continent or overseas, a much enjoyable and exciting experience is guaranteed.
